The heart of Christian mission is bringing hope, redemption and healing to our broken world as we share God’s love through acts of service and kindness. Our service is our witness to the transforming power of Jesus Christ.
Caring About Others
Teaching our students to serve others is part of the heartbeat of Pacific Berowra. Students develop character as they offer service. They gain insight about the different perspectives of life. Through acts of service, students learn respect, humility, develop their sense of responsibility and learn about their role of making a difference in the world. All students participate in mission and service based on age-appropriate experiences. They serve groups of people in need in our local communities. They are also introduced to mission groups in our community such as The Bible Society, Right to Life and Healthy Harold. It’s a delight watching children thrive through acts of service and develop a healthy identity and grow in their capacity to support others.
Our students from Kindergarten-Year 6 play an important role in blessing people in need. Their efforts show the tangible love of Jesus to those who face challenges. Our children express kindness and compassion as they show the light and hope of Christ to others. Our local missional engagement and service includes our K-2 students delivering Christmas cards to homes in the surrounding streets of the school. Students in Years 3-6 also visit the aged care facilities in Wahroonga and Asquith. Children learn to be a blessing to others through service.
As each one has received a special gift, employ it in serving one another as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.
